Hello the Curious Anonymous! Thanks for stopping by and checking out!!

I am Abhijit, Living in Pune India. I am a blogger (note small b) and have been a Blogger (note capital B) for a while. I have decided to give wordpress a try and I think this was a good thing to do.

I am an engineer by education and almost by profession. I work in Technology space so to speak and have worked in the past with a couple of startups and now trying my own called ‘paahijen.com’. It’s going a bit slow for now, while I am doing other projects to pay my bills.

Apart from that my passions include thinking about life, universe and everything. The name of the blog should pretty much tell what I like. I’d keep this space updated as and when I have more to share!

Some of my favourite quotes (Note: I have independently thought about this, so if it rhymes in letter or spirit with something that someone famous said, it is not my fault!!)

1. The spirit is good but the rationale isn’t

2. History doesn’t repeat itself but does enough to make you feel nostalgic. (Mark Twain said something similar to that, I learnt about it later)

3. They are westernized in habits but not in the thought.

4. In hindsight, more good has been done to the world by people who were greedy for money and power than those who thought of salvaging the mankind.

5. Capital Markets exist because there is a steady supply of less informed participants.

6. (void *)0 – No no, not a null pointer, its Fed Funds rate, typecasted to its utility.

7. I don’t think visionaries have contributed so much to the progress of humanity than simple honest men and women largely anonymous who just focussed on doing their job right.

8.I am not so much skeptical of religious ‘beliefs’ as that of scientific ‘beliefs’, for, the former make no claims of ‘intellectual activity’ (usually) and are thus less prone to be consequences of human arrogance!!!

9. Is humanity an unintended consequence of evolution?

10. I don’t think God is punishing or Rewarding but He’s certainly mean reverting.
